Buying Guide
Material Quality and Weather Resistance
Look for PE rattan woven over a steel or aluminum frame. PE rattan resists fading and cracking from sun exposure and moisture. A powder-coated steel frame adds rigidity and corrosion resistance. For cushions, choose fabrics with water resistance or removable, washable covers to simplify maintenance.
Seating Capacity and Configuration
Consider your space and guest needs. Large families or frequent gatherings benefit from 7- or 8-piece sets with multiple seating options, like the KROFEM and PAIQIAN offerings. Smaller balconies may suit 3- to 4-piece sets. Modular designs, such as JOYURE, allow arranging seating to fit irregular spaces.
Cushions, Comfort, and Maintenance
Thick cushions improve comfort, but ensure they are easy to clean. Removable covers simplify cleaning, while waterproof or water-resistant cushions help when rain is possible. Check cushion depth and back support to match comfort preferences.
Table Quality and Practical Features
Tempered glass tables are common and offer durability plus easy cleaning. Some sets include storage features, like hidden compartments under the glass table, which can reduce clutter on decks and patios. Consider tables that are easy to wipe down and won’t show wear quickly.
Assembly, Warranty, and Budget
Most sets ship with hardware and tools; some require more assembly time. Review the included instructions and estimated assembly effort. While prices vary, prioritize value: durability, comfort, and warranty coverage often justify a higher upfront cost. Look for brands offering post-purchase support and replacement cushions if needed.
Space and Aesthetic Considerations
Choose color and finish that complement existing outdoor decor. Natural-toned rattan with dark cushions yields a versatile, contemporary look. If you expect harsh sun or heavy rain, favor darker cushions and water-resistant fabrics to minimize maintenance and fading over time.
